SOOO Sorry...& Totally Tilda Challenge

...I haven't been on here much lately, i have had a mountain of cards ordered so i have been kept busy with them and working.
This card i made for my mum for Mother's Day
(even tho she's already had a nosey at it!) and i am entering this into the Totally Tilda challenge, link is below main picture at the bottom.
For the challenge we had to use chipboard on the project.
The chipboard i used on my card was the 'Tag' at the top.
It was originally a chipboad sticker but i didnt like the design on it, so i peeled off the design and the sticky side and was left with a fluffy textured tag.
I used my Distress Inks on the front.
I used 'Old Paper' to distress it and then stamped my flowers with 'Dusty Concord'.
For the sentiment and leaves i used my Cocoa Memento ink.
I attatched it with a brad and voila... Here it is!
A little different for me!

This is my entry for the Totally Tilda Challenge Blog

The papers i used are by 'Making Memories' and i purchased them at my local TKMaxx for only €4.00 for a pack of 40 sheets!
The flowers and leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the ribbon and gems are from my stash

Thanks for looking and don't forget to check out the Totally Tilda Challenge blog

luv n hugs

Off the edge- Less is More Challenge

This is week 6 challenge over at less is more

I decided to try and make a quick and simple Mothers day card for my nan and this is what i came up with and entering into the challenge.

I enjoyed trying something different and keeping the card clean and simple for a change.
For my card I printed the sentiment onto the card blank and then stamped my new V&A Inspired stamps across and coloured with promarkers.

Using up some Scraps!

Babies!

Well, seeing as i cant sleep yet, i decided to add some more of my cards, this time babies!
I LOOOVE baby cards,
they are just so cute to do, and you know that the receiver will cherish them.

This first one was made for someone whose daughter had just had a little girl and it was his first grand-daughter, so he wanted a very special one, and from him specifically.

  • Image: Magnolia Sleeping Baby tilda
  • Tulle, satin ribbon and sparkly gems to finish.

This card was made for my auntie to send to her friend who had a little boy.
  • Image: Pink Gem Designs 'oh boy'
  • Sky blue grosgrain ribbon
  • Blue gems
  • Oliver baby papers
Baby Girl, Erin.
  • Image: Magnolia sleeping baby Tilda
  • Lace detail
  • Pearls and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts

Baby Boy, Mark.
  • Again the same image as before, but this time in blue.
  • Cuttlebug 'Swiss Dots' embossing folder
  • Martha Stewart edging punch (doily i think)
  • Pearls to finish

Thankyou for stopping by to look and for any comments.

My nan is heading over so this is from her to the couple.

Catherine turns 20!

It was my sister's 20th Birthday at the end of January, and here are the 3 cards that I made for her. One from my mum and all the gang, one from my nan & grandad and then the one from myself.
I made this card with my luvly new little cupcake stamp from Papermania, coloured with promarkers, and then decorated a little candle to match, since I am not giving presents this year as money is being put towards our wedding.

This card was originally meant to be from my mum to Catherine, but I decided to use it from nan instead. Image is a Stamping Bella one, and i have used xcut hearts border punch, silver organza ribbon and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts (which I absoluely adore!)

For the final card, I made an A5 sized card decorated with scrummy cup-cake papers (cant remember the name of the pack), i used the cuttlebug 'Happy Birthday' embossing folder for the centre strip, pink satin ribbon, more lovely flowers from W.O.C. and glitter cardstock stickers for her name plaque. To finish I added a few pearls.

Here goes...

Well after doing a bit of MAJOR blog-hopping, i thought i would give it a go and set up my own so here goes...x

Some of my favourite stamps at the moment, have to be Penny Black, Magnolia and The Greeting Farm, but if you are to look through my stamp collection I have sooo many different makes and designs.

The first piccy i have uploaded is of my new craft room in my new house, which i moved into in September. It has all the room i need, and i count myself as very lucky.
I got a bedroom for my craft room and hubby-to-be got the conservatory for his xbox and pool table. Fair deal I'd say??
